For over 40 years, ACG LA has been a hub for the city's business community - a place for executives of all types to learn new practices, challenge conventional thinking, and broaden and strengthen their relationships throughout the region.
The Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists has won many honors, including the national SPJ Circle of Excellence Award in 2009, for its programs aimed at honing professional skills, and keeping abreast of the important issues affecting the practice of journalism.

Journalist Frank Mottek, “the voice of business news in Los Angeles,” will be the master of ceremonies at the March 1 Distinguished Journalists Awards Banquet sponsored by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
The event, which will take place at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, honors journalists in print, broadcast and digital media. The evening’s speaker will be MSNBC journalist Jacob Soboroff.
